Super light and rugged all at the same time. I was looking for a new set of sticks that would be able to withstand the beating l put on them. I wasted 3 sets on my AT hike this year. I’ve only had my Hungry Hiker poled out once but they are super comfortable and seem extra tough but still light like I need. These will definitely be my new go to sticks.

I had a pair of Hiker Hunger Carbon Fiber pokes for years until recently when the top of the cork handle broke off. I decided to switch to the Aluminum 7075’s and really like them. The weight is good, easy to extend and contract, and they don’t collapse in use. The cork grips are always good and feel comfortable in my hands.

Have used these poles several times now since I got them. While not as light as others, the sturdiness is much appreciated, and they're still comfortable on a long hike. Easy to adjust, stay put where you adjust them. Straps are very comfortable as well. My 9-year-old granddaughter has decided she wants to hike with me, and she used these on a recent hike. Great value

These are not just a great value because the quality is very comparable to poles with a much higher price tag. Our family has been running 4 pairs for 2 years of fairly heavy use and they are still working great! Awesome products and great customer support!

Purchased an extra pair of trekking pole for companions

I love my trekking poles so much I purchased a second pair with my gift card so I could keep them with me incase a friend or family member wants to join in the fun. It was a great idea.

Aluminum 7075 trekking poles & Carbon Fiber Trekking Poles

I recently purchased both the aluminum 7075 trekking poles and the carbon fiber trekking poles because I wanted to try both. I found both to be very well made. I like the carry bags they come with and the accessory pocket on the outside of the bag. The pole tips attach securely to the pole. I appreciated the two types of tips and two types of baskets that are included. I found the cork grips and the straps to be very comfortable. The speed locks lock securely and are well made. I’ve used both on some shorter hikes and I’m looking forward to using them on some longer trails. I do appreciate the level of customer service that’s offered from Hiker Hunger.

Camping and Walking

I originally bought these while I was camping with Boy Scouts and with The Civil Air Patrol. Since we are past both of those groups the poles have become invaluable with everyday walking. I have developed COPD and the trekking poles give me the assistance I need to get the exercise I need.
