Perfect poles for my son!
Prior to this purchase, my son used a collapsed pair of adult poles that he borrowed from his Grandma… When his new hiker hunger poles arrived, I could immediately see they are very kid specific, with small grips and bright colors that he loves. They are also lighter than collapsed adult poles which is great for when he gets tired of holding them and dad has to carry them for a bit. I do wish that the bottom section had measurements (like the top does) for quicker, more accurate adjustments on the fly. But these are great kids trekking poles at a great value! Highly recommend

let it be known - intergalacticly - that these are the best hiking poles to ever exist. It is hard to imagine the darkness there was in my hiking world until these poles found me. I was born a poor poleless child, but I consider my life to have not begun until my first pair of hiker hunger poles.
Gone were the collapsing poles and the flimsy tips. The locking mechanism kept up, the grips were in the right place. Lasted for a decade of lots of use. I am relieved to see that new pair has left off right where the last pair did. It’s a fantastic hiking pole.

I am so happy with my Trekking poles from Hiker Hunger. They were able to fit in my checked luggage. I used them to hike 70 miles in varied terrain, including descending loose gravel, sand, board walks, sheets of rock, steep uphill and pavement. Also my Hiker Hunger poles are adjustable (I like one side to be longer than the other). They were perfect for me. Also they followed up on my question about shipping (great customer service).

Great trekking poles!
The Z-style poles were great out of the box. The instructions made initial setup a snap (pun intended). The worked perfectly on a test hike over rollling lakeside terrain in a local park and handled more difficult trails in Denali and Kenai Fjords National Parks with finesse. The sticks easily fit inside my carry-on luggage, and most importantly are solid and provide good support on uphill and downhill stretches of trail. Love 'em.

The perfect alternative to heavy cumbersome walker post hip surgery
Over the summer I hiked with poles over the Alps and loved it. I wanted to accoplish this asI new upon arrival back in U.S. I will be having total hip replacement on my right hip. I cried using the walker which was not helping my gait, could not stand up straight, and was humiliating. That is when my poles arrived and my recovery will still take time but I am up walkig in house, street, getting in and out of cars, and going out to eat with my poles matching me step for step. I loved them so much my sister-in-law with knee surgery ordered a pari recommended by yout team. We look so cool with our poles!
