I love how cozy this Summit Hoodie feels with the micro grid and hood, but what sold me on this one in particular was the thumbies and mitts. unfortunately, I find the sleeves are too short to make use of the mitts or thumb holes without scrunching my hands or stretching the sleeves, which if I do that it’s no longer cozy. I am 5’4” and a slender woman, with average length arms, and tried the small and then exchanged for a medium, and while the medium otherwise fits perfectly, the sleeve is so short the thumb hole is three inches below my thumb. Other brands of mid layers I have with thumb holes have sleeves three inches longer and the thumb holes are thus very comfortably placed. I’ve given feedback directly to the company and I hope they can incorporate it. In the meantime I continue to enjoy my Glacier Blue Summit Hoodie for all its great features other than the thumbies and mitts, but I won’t be recommending it to others until they lengthen the sleeves. A mid-layer with thumbies shouldn’t have to stretch so tightly to use them. See the pics attached, and compare to one of a different brand (the lavender one, also medium) that is 3” longer and is far more comfortable on my thumb.
